Unraveling Ableism Event
Unraveling Ableism
Our signature training is now available on-demand!

LaVant Consulting, Inc.’s signature program Unraveling Ableism is hosted annually in October in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). Each year Unraveling Ableism provides a framework for tackling ableism through crash courses about disability culture and belonging.
Ableism is the discrimination and social prejudice against disabled people. Addressing its effects is an ongoing practice. The 2022 Unraveling Ableism program focused on ableism as it manifests in our language, workplaces, and topical cultural trends.
Unraveling Ableism 2022 featured three crash courses hosted by LCI’s Lead Consultants
