#FakeWheelchairAlert:
Authentic Disability Representation in Stock Photography
Live Training Event
Disabilities are widely underrepresented in advertising and stock library content. When disability is depicted, it’s often in offensive, inauthentic, or stereotypical ways. Learn the ins and outs of creating an authentic asset library, starting with how to spot a bad stock photo, sourcing disabled talent, and knowing which words to use in a casting call. Grasp the basics of on-set accessibility logistics and understand how to communicate with disabled talent during your photo shoot.
